Favorite Local Bands
I just moved back around Thanksgiving after 9 years in San Francisco. Since I've been back I've been playing tons of music with the phenomenally talented Teddy Sablon, who recently moved here from North Carolina.

Lately, I've also been fortunate enough to sit in with some great acts like Plowman's Anti-POP-Ulous, Charliehorse, Shannon Wurst, and Tiffany Christopher.

I always love any group featuring Clare Starr or Jeff Gray.

Jeff Kearny, Paul Boatright, 3 Penny Acre, Fayetteville Funk Ensemble, Velcro Moonshoe and Still On The Hill are some more great ones....

If you consider Springfield local, you might as well throw in Big Smith, Cindy Woolf, Dallas Jones, Speakeasy and all those other great May Apple acts.....

I love playing music (I'm playing quite a bit around town. Send me a message for some details until I have time to put them up on here....), catching live music, listening to music, spending as much time outdoors as possible and having good times with good friends.

Good to meet you down at Hogwild Pizzaria after my radio show last night. If I have not met you before which I'm pretty sure we have. Maybe SF or back in the day Arkansas. This Friday Mountain Of Venus is playing before New Monsoon at George's Majestic Lounge. Hope to see you around soon. -DGold
